Conscious Sleeping & Lucid Dreaming
(For this Blog, the terms Conscious Sleeping & Lucid Dreaming, represents entering the sleep & dream states consciously).
Conscious Sleeping & Lucid Dreaming are difficult enough. However, experiencing Out Of Body Sounds during a conscious state adds another layer of difficulty to the sleeper. How do you consciously produce out of body occurrences & lucid dreams? Consider reproducing procedures that I performed or rehearsed during my normal wake state. What am I referring to? Some wake state activities are useful exercises to employ while I’m still awake. Examples: meditating, imagery, intentions, even imagining that I’m exiting my body. To have an Out Of Body experience, rehearsing these exercises while your awake is useful, or create your own exercises. Rehearsing for Potential Dreams
For example, when walking to the supermarket, I view a stranger making eye contact with me. I then rehearse what action to take should this scenery occurs during a dream. I’ll think to myself, “Is this a dream”? Of course, since I’m awake, this is therefore not a dream. I’m merely rehearsing what I’ll think (imagine) during a dream. The stage is now set for me to ask myself, “Is this a dream” during a dream. During my next dream, if someone makes eye contact with me, the strangeness of the dream scenery will then alert me to the fact that I’m dreaming. Voila! Now that I’m lucid dreaming, the following techniques are helpful to facilitate an out of body occurrence during this lucid dream. Meditating, contemplating, utilizing my imagination, intentions, or imagining that I’m exiting my body. These are exercises I’ve employed during conscious lucid dreams to help facilitate an Out Of Body occurrence.
Care Needed To Prevent Terminating The Lucid Dream
Care is needed at this time. The very intention of physically rising out of my body oftentimes resulted in the lucid dream slowly evaporating. This could result in my awakening from the Lucid dream. When Lucid Dreaming, my intentions are critically important. As an example. Supposed I intended to be two feet above my body or on the other side of the bedroom. This intention was a more efficient method to place me above my body & prevent my awakening from the dream.
If successful, during the lucid dream, I might experience a combination of sounds, motion, vibrations & white light.
